Tashkent Aircraft Production named after V.P.Chkalov (TAPOiCh)
Tashkent Aircraft Production named after V.P.Chkalov State Joint-Stock Company is in the vanguard of machine-building in the Republik of Uzbekistan and the biggest aircraft building company in the CIS countries and on the Asian continent.
The Chairman of the Board and Direktor General is Koucherov Vadim Petrovich.
TAPC is comprised of 5 plants that are situated in Tashkent, Andizhan, Fergana.
Over 70 years, the Corporation has specialized in production of heavy cargo and assault aircraft for Air Force and civil aviation: Li-2, IL-14, An-8, Ka-22 rotorcraft, An-12, An-22 Antei, IL-76 aircraft and its modifications:
- IL-76K for cjsmonaut training;
- IL-78, IL-78M for in-flight refueling;
- IL-76 Skalper MT, Aibolit for emergency medical aim;
- IL-76P for fire fighting and others.
TAPC producing center wing section and wing tip for An-124 Ruslan and An-225 Mrya aircraft. Currently the following aircraft are being series-produced: IL76TD; IL-114 - a 64 passenger capacity aircraft for local airlines ; IL-114-100 - a passenger aircraft powered by PW-127H Pratt & Whitney -Canada.
