Molniya Ufa Scientific and Production Enterprise (UNPP Molniya)
The enterprise was founded in 1941.
Its main activities are design and manufacture of electronic automatic control and ignition systems, plugs, optical pyrometers and flame sensors for gas turbine engines.
All the jet engines produced in the CIS for aircraft, space, sea and ground vehicles have been supplied with the ignition plugs of Molniya design.
Dozens of engine electronic control units have been installed on An-24, An-72, An-74, An-124, An-225, 11-86, MiG-23, Su-17, MiG-29, MiG-31, Tu-134, Tu-154, Yak-42 airplanes, Mi-8, Mi-14, Mi-24, Mi-26, Ka-32 helicopters, some missile systems, having proved their reliability and performance corresponding to the best foreign samples.
Presently work is underway on the development of electronic engine setting controllers for IL-114, Tu-324, Tu-334, Be-200, An-70, Yak-130 airplanes and ecologically safe ignition systems.
Within the framework of the conversion programme the enterprise has developed and put into production:
- Ignition system components for Oka, Tavria, VAZ, and GAZ automobiles;
- Plasma ignition systems and gas turbine engine control equipment for gaspumping and power plants;
- Autonomous electric door-to-door hot-water supply systems for dwellings with 50, 80, 100,150, 200-litre capacity;
- Technical endoscopes for internal surfaces monitoring at the objects of fuel and energy complex.
